Yes, IBSAT exam is conducted in online mode. The exam is held in remote proctored mode. Applicants can book the exam slot after completing the IBSAT application process online. To appear for the online mode of examination, candidates must have a desktop or laptop and download the required software to appear for the exam.

IBSAT 2026 exam will be held tentatively in last week of December. Candidates can book the exam slot tentatively from October 2026.

IBSAT 2026 slot booking window is open. Only registered candidates can book exam slot following below steps:

  1. Visit official website of IBS and login
  2. Click on tab 'Schedule IBSAT'
  3. Click on tab 'Book a seat'
  4. Enter the following details:
    • Test name
    • City
    • Date
    • Test centre name
    • Test centre address
  5. Select suitable exam timing
  6. Candidates will be given 1 minute to confirm
  7. Screen will now display candidate and examination details.
  8. Download IBSAT admit card.

The participating colleges decide MAT cut off for admission to their MBA/PGDM programmes. Generally, the top MBA colleges' cut off range is around 90-95 percentile. Cut offs of Tier 2 colleges is usually between the range of 80-90 percentile and for Tier 3 it is 50-70 percentile.
