Yes, you can. Other business schools like Christ University and XIME are good in terms of placements and ROI. Christ is a very good university with only one drawback, large batch size.

One distinct difference between supply chain management and operations management is that supply chain management is focused externally. Its focus is on:
Planning products that consumers will want to buy
Sourcing raw materials, components or parts
Transporting and warehousing products
Delivering the goods to the point of purchase

There's no technical way to enter the field. But while in MBA, you can focus on international business and trade relations subjects. You could try interning at a port operations. This would be a great help for you in terms of all the over understanding of trade and challenges related to it. You could even try a sales profile in an industry where you need to understand all the different kinds of companies and their products, like an insurance industry. Good luck!
