Hi Saumya!
CMAT exam is for pursuing any management course in India, while GMAT is must if you are planning to continue your studies abroad. The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges but Some of leading Business Schools have decided to keep out from CMAT. But still quite a number of colleges accept their score. You can appear for both the exams. All the Best Mate!

There are different entrance exams for MBA such as CAT CET, CMAT, GMAT, NMAT, SNAP, XAT, MAT and ATMA. Out of the above mentioned exams, some are some exams are college specific (NMAT, SNAP XAT I. e. you need to appear for those exams to get into the college. While others would widen your scope and choice to choose colleges. Also, consider that there are colleges who do not accept all the exam score and restricted to certain exams only. Yes and No I'm afraid not, but try counselling if you're not OC open category and maybe you can get a seat in either OU or JNTU. I got TSICET rank of 706 in 2017 and I still didn't get OU or CBIT seat and I was OC. But yours is 460 rank so there might be a better chance of getting a seat in those colleges.

It is a good choice to do MBA from a good college. This university is one of the best universities of the central government. So, it will definitely be beneficial for you.

I would suggest you to do a little more research in the field you mentioned and try getting in touch with people from HRM. Some of the role of HR are recruitment, employee engagement, Talent hunt, Training, Maintain work culture, Employee Relations, compensations and rewards. Person with HR skills would be the best to suggest you enhance your skills. Good Luck Mate!

Studying 2 years MBA has a greater scope than an MBA of 1 year. In the 2-year course, you will learn more about business management skills and ability to manage a business.

Admissions for PGDM are closed in most of the colleges. Yet each and every college has their eligibility criteria. You would be able to get information on website of the college. I would suggest you to find the colleges who still have their admission process on. As far as IRS is concerned, we are closed for PGDM 2018-2020. Good Luck Mate!

At least, 50% is required in graduation to get into IIMs. You need to score > 95 percentile in CAT to get a call from IIM-Trichy. Just prepare well for CAT, keep practicing the questions and a determined effort towards CAT preparation will definitely help you to achieve a high score in CAT.
