Hi Nidhish, your percentile is good however for MBA abroad applicants must also have atleast 2 years work experience and must take the GMAT to qualify. If you don't have work experience then you must be an extraordinarily bright student or you must compromise with a low ranked university. Decide if you want to study from a top university or a low ranked one. You can also think about doing MS Management, with your percentile you can apply top universities like INSEAD and HEC Paris. However you must still give the GMAT. Also the IELTS to meet the English language requirements.

Yes, MBA in finance has good scope. Financial inclusion is still in nascent stage in India. Future opportunities will be there in the field of banking and insurance sector. Financial along with technology (i.e. Fintech) is coming in a big way in the global and national market. PAYTM, Amazon and Google are already exploiting these fields. MBA in finance will help you to understand the process and make it more efficient and streamlined. Institutes like IIMs, S.P.Jain, NMIMS and SIBM are the top institutes in India for MBA. Some colleges with niche specializations in finance are NIBM-Pune, IFMR and IIT-KGP.

Hi, normally there are two main intakes - Fall (Aug/Sept) and Spring (Jan/Feb). Some universities also have a Summer intake (April/May) and a rare winter intake in December. The Fall intake is the one you should target as this is the widely available one and most preferred.

Hi, GMAT is mandatory for MBA admissions and is not waived off under any circumstances. You may consider taking the GRE instead of GMAT which is slightly easier too.

Hi Dhruv, typically they will require a four year degree, in case you don't meet this requirement you can complete the first year of a Master degree programme in India or complete a PG Diploma programme in India. Either of these must be accredited and recognised. However for an MBA one must also have 2 years work experience on a minimum, without which an MBA admission is difficult.
