Yes, it does help in the final placement but 50% depends on your performance and academic score does give you some heads up in placement section process but your GK and attitude towards each and everything and your point of view for solving problem is what they look forward in placement section and your scores reflect that the amount of knowledge you are having as per your academic score. see what happens is when you go for general MBA it's more like a open door for all specializations. you can learn basic knowledge from everything. you can either learn HR , Marketing or Finance. ITM-Navi Mumbai is recognized and ranked among one of the top business schools in India. Overall, can be said a decent institute to pursue MBA.
Placement opportunities are decent after completing MBA from ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai (ITM). ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai (ITM) is ranked 41st by India Education in 2015 and 40th by Times B-School in India.
The packages offered by various companies visiting in the recruitment session for marketing students are 14 LPA highest whereas average being 6.8 LPA

PGP-Post Graduate Program
PGDM-Post Graduate Diploma in Management
FPM-Fellow Program in management
ABM-AgriBusiness Management
Most of the things are clear by the full forms itself.
PGP is a two-year postgraduate program offered by most of the colleges.
PGDM or Post Graduate Diploma in Management is offered by autonomous institutions as they cannot offer MBA.
FPM is a Ph.D/fellowship in management. Generally, people interested in research in management related fields do this course.

There may be numerous factors that influence your decision regarding the area you wish to specialize in. Jaipuria Institute for Management is one of the most decent colleges for pursuing business studies in the Delhi NCR region. Many corporate and management related companies visit the campus every year for placements. Some of the top companies are:
Coca Cola, Axis Bank, Havells, Asian Paints, Amazon (two year prior), D-Mart, etc.
The average placement from the campus, specifically for MBA aspirants is around 5 LPA, whereas highest being 14 LPA.
There were few students recruited last year for abroad placements in USA.

Prestige Institute of Management is one of the premier institutes of the central India for management studies affiliated to the state government run Devi Ahilya Bai Vishwavidhyalaya (DAVV).
Though, the institute does not have remarkable placement record, it is successful in achieving 90 percent placement record and also has nice locational factors.
The placement record for the past recruitment session is around 9 LPA whereas 9 LPA being the highest and 1.6 LPA being the lowest.
