The main difference between MBA and PGDM is, that MBA is a degree and is offered by universities, whereas, PGDM is a post-graduate diploma offered by AICTE approved institutes.
Indian universities come under the University Grants Commission (UGC) and can, therefore, award degrees like the MBA degree, also known as MMS in Mumbai. Universities follow the UGC format for course content. On the other hand, reputed management institutes design their courses based on industry feedback and business relevance. They are not covered under the UGC.

There is no minimum percentage as such which would make you eligible to study MBA in abroad. This is because the admission is done based on the scores in entrance exams and the overall career record of the applicants. Hence the higher percentage in your graduation, the better is your career record and brighter is the chance of getting seat in foreign institutes. However, you need to keep in mind that you need to score good marks in the entrance exams - GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS as the scores in the entrance exams is the prime criterion of selection during admission process for MBA in most of the foreign institutes.

Hello,
It will not affect to get good colleges. Try to get good percentile in CAT and MAT entrance test, then surely you will get good MBA colleges. But, try to give reasonable answers if interviewer asks about this gap.
So, don't worry about your gap and try to get high percentile in your CAT entrance test.

MBA (Master of Business Administration) and PGDBA (Post Graduate Programme in Business Administration). Both these courses are similar in terms of learning, where one being narrow in scope and the other being wider. MBA is a master's degree of administration, wherein students learn both practically and theoretically and gain in-depth knowledge of the business culture, while PGDBA does not provide such insights to the course, but touches all the portions of Business Administration. This is a Diploma and not a Master's degree. If you are looking to go for a job in the near future, I would suggest you should go for MBA and increase your c
