You should be applying an year prior to the intake you wish to go. A degree in Business will help you to explore knowledge and get employed after which you may start MBA online or on campus.

Both are equally good if you do in a reputed college.
If you are interested in PGDM, go for top colleges.
Otherwise, do MBA.
