Hi,
MBA can be done only if you are a graduate from any stream. Secondly, MBA is done in a specialised subject. So the job placements are always based on the highest degree you have and in the areas where you have specialised.
So, you don't need to take stress.

Hi Kartik,
It sounds like a good decision. If you are keen to pursue a career in banking and finance then MBA in the same field will be a good decision. Since work experience is required for MBA programmes abroad especially if you want to do it from a good university, it is wise you gain some experience from the banking sector itself and pursue your MBA in the same specialisation. It will show how focused your career plan is. Best of luck!

MBA is important only to get a good job in reputed companies & B.Com is all about getting into a good college for MBA.
That's why I would suggest you to choose a good college instead of whenever. Also, the good college you find needs to have a good infrastructure and a good & healthy environment.
As you are interested in colleges in Uttar Pradesh, there are a number of colleges there. You can make a list of colleges and evaluate the best one.
Moreover, if you don't want to do B.Com from a good college, take admission in private B.Com and start preparing for CAT to get into the best colleges for MBA.
Best of luck.

First and foremost, you must write entrance exams like MAT, CMAT, CAT, XAT, etc., for joining any of the colleges for MBA course. You must have the scoreboard of any of this entrances and apply to that particular college and they will call you for Group Discussion and Personal Interview, and then, at last, they will announce the results.

Yes, of course, you are eligible. The rule says the Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. You satisfy the same hence you are eligible irrespective of the university which awarded you the degree.
