The PET exam is for pursuing MBA at Faculty of Commerce, BHU. For pursuing MBA at Institute of Management Studies, BHU (erstwhile FMS BHU) you need to appear for CAT. You get admission in FMS on the basis of your CAT score only.

If you are a general category student with 72 percentile you must have not received the call as cutoff for general category this year was 75 percentile. So its not possible to get admission for this session. If you have category benefit you must have got the call, and you can convert the call if you had perform well in GD-PI and you had good academic records.

PGDM is offered by an autonomous university, MBA is offered by colleges deemed to any university. Both are equivalent. Just go for that course in which you are interested.
