Hello Harshal,
Yes indeed! Pursuing PGDM from a good college(Welingkar/Dalmia/SIES) is always better than pursuing MMS from an average/below average college(MET, IES, Chetana, etc). Except the fee structure and ROI(to an extent), there isn't a huge difference between these two courses. In fact, PGDM consists of a better curriculum as it is updated on a regular basis based on the latest industry trends. I hope it helps.

Hi Spandan,
Somaiya would be better due to its brand name and location. The average package offered is around Rs 9L, and is one of the top B-schools in/around Mumbai. The new IIMs are not great in terms of placements and ROI; it will take some years for them to be established. Still if brand name matters to you than placements/ROI, then you can go for them(specially Amritsar & Nagpur). Good luck!

Most of Indian and International universities and B-Schools conduct delivery of MBA in English language. In addition to seek admission, you will have to appear in MBA entrance examination, which as questions on verbal ability. Therefore, you will have to work out a plan to improve your skills in English language. You may seek external help to improve your weakness in language to improve your chances of success and score well during MBA classes.
