Every year, IIMs announce their CAT marking scheme. Marking scheme announced for CAT 2016 had 3 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark deducted from your credit score for every wrong answer. The exception is Non-MCQs where your wrong answers will not impose penalty ofnegative marking.

You can join a good coaching institute for preparing MBA entrance exams. Coaching institutes have a scheduled plan of covering all the important topics. If you are looking for self preparation than make a proper schedule and stick to it.

The best stream is based on your interest and academic background. First, take admission and then decide for the branch because the choice of branch comes in the second year. At that time, you will be able to make up your mind and can then choose the branch. As far as the institute is concerned, IIM is the best in India. For admission in IIM, crack CAT. So prepare for that and attend the various coachings that are there for CAT preparation.

Hello Shantanu!
Well, you need to somehow take out time and study for around 2-3 hours(weekdays) and 6-8 hours (weekends). You can choose to study during your office breaks and while travelling too. You can give mocks on a Sat and analyse it the next day. All the best!
