MBA in IT requires the following:
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Work experience of 2-3 years
3. GMAT scores
4. TOEFL or IELTS scores.
While these are the primary requirements for an MBA programs. The colleges look for high calibre all-rounders, someone who can contribute to the class. MBA essays demonstrating the career goals and strong LORs are important.
An MBA in IT further will ensure the enhancement of your core knowledge of the IT field & develop management skills too. It is a package leading to a job for sure in Canada.

It really depends on which university it is & how have you performed in the same academically & holistically as the recommendation from your professors contribute towards your employment. As many of your classes are taken by industry professionals which helps for placements as well passively & the internship opportunities you may have with different companies is an equivalent opportunity to impress your employer & get better salaries.
