Both courses have equal scope, companies hardly distinguish between the two and scope and placement opportunities are fair and equivalent. PGDM is more industry oriented and updated.

Generally, both are same. Since institutions like TSM, PSG are autonomous, they can easily update their MBA syllabus too without much problems. Hence, it depends upon you, whether you are looking for a degree or diploma. Regarding TSM, I think there might be a slight advantage if you go with their PGDM since it is recognized as equivalent to MBA by AIU and preference will be given to PGDM as it is their flagship programme. Fee is also high for PGDM, while when it comes to placement both MBA and PGDM average is around Rs 5 lakh. So, it depends on you. Nowadays, it is better to choose marketing as one of your specialization.

MBA full time is equivalent to MBA distance learning only on education parity. Private Industry treats full-time MBA graduate superior over graduates who have done MBA by distance learning. If two candidates meet all eligibility criterion, MBA full-time will get precedence over MBA distance learning. There is no such difference or priority in government jobs for MBA fulltime.
