Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering MCA admission is completely entrance-based. The college accepts the scores of PGCET/ KMAT. The college accepts the scores of these state-based entrance exams. Candidates with a valid score in any of the following entrance exams, followed by counselling can get admission to the DSCE MCA course. PGCET Score is a must for Government Quota Students.

JLU Bhopal has not yet released the placement statistics for the MCA programme. However, the overall placement report for 2023 is available. As per the report, the the highest package offered during the 2023 placement drive stood at INR 14.25 LPA. Moreover, during the placement drive held in 2021, the highest package offered stood at INR 15 LPA.
Other than this, it is known that JLU Bhopal maintains a good network of recruiters. As per official sources, HCL, Airtel, TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Deloitte, Wipro, etc., are some of the top recruiters who have participated in past years placements.

1. To start, students must scan, upload, and email the following documents to the university's official email ID. The documents to be attached are:
- Certified copies of all mark sheets from class 10 onwards till the last completed semester/year.
- An authentic copy of the semester- or year-wise detailed course structure, scheme of teaching, and evaluation of the course of study pursued by the parent university/institution

No, JLU Bhopal MCA admissions are not entrance-based. As per official sources, students who wish to get admission are not required to take any entrance test. Prospective students must fulfill the eligibility requirements and apply for the course on the university's official website. The selection of candidates depends on their performance in the subsequent PI round. Moreover, shortlisted students are intimated about the interview venue and date within one week's time.
