Pursuing an MCA from Kalinga University, Raipur is a good choice as the program provides a strong foundation in computer applications, including areas like programming, database management, and network security. The university offers a balanced mix of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure, with students gaining access to industry internships and job placements in tech companies.

However, while the university has a solid placement support system, the exact placement rates and salary details may vary, so it's advisable to directly inquire about recent statistics for a clearer understanding of post-graduation prospects.

In most universities, for MCA eligibility, students generally need to have studied Mathematics in their 10+2 or undergraduate levels. However, some institutions accept those who have done B.Sc. in Computer Applications (B.Sc. CA) without Mathematics in the third year towards their MCA program. Generally, a majority of them would require Mathematics in the undergraduate level. Hence, the best practice will be to check the eligibility criterion in different universities as they may differ.
