MCA Admission latest Cut-off News at Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research

As per the latest buzz in December 2024, the situation regarding the MCA cutoff at Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research stands wherein all criteria such as GPA and entrance exam marks apply for admissions into the MCA program.

 Conventionally, admissions for the MCA programme happen on the basis of the score obtained in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-MCA-CET).

That is a consideration where the target is reaching a minimum of 60% or more as MAH-MCA-CET score during the academic year 2024-2025 for an opportunity in the MCA program. However, the cutoff may change with time as other factors, such as performance of candidates and rules of the university, come into play. 

For non-tech students with a B.Sc. in Chemistry, many affordable MCA programs provide strong placements and teaching. Colleges like Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Delhi, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and the University of Mumbai are very good. These institutions have a well-structured MCA curriculum and provide great placement support to help students make a smooth transition into the tech field. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University offers an MCA programme here in Pune, which enjoys good teaching and placement possibilities. These colleges catered to non-tech graduates so that they could gain these skills to excel in the MCA field.

Indeed, a student can pursue MCA from Hyderabad with fee reimbursement facilities. Fee reimbursement options exist for MCA in all states of India including Telangana. There, the students pursuing an MCA course can take reimbursement facilities both in Government as well as Private institutes. For example, there may be a reimbursement for an MCA course fee in the amount of INR 27,000 for students belonging to an economically weaker section. Several colleges in Hyderabad take part in such schemes; Osmania University and the University of Hyderabad are just a couple of examples. It should be checked on the website of the specific college to which one wishes to approach or the website of the state education department.

NIT Raipur has an intake of 110 students for its MCA courses. According to the seat resevration policy followed by the institute, certain seats are reserved for SC, ST, EWS and OBC-NCL categories. Check out the seat reservation for MCA courses below:

The seat allotment is provided during the central counseling through NIMCET only, and for reservations done under the same. Additionally, candidates are required to submit supporting documents.
