There are 13 NEP recommended courses included in the MCA course curriculum. During the course, candidates have to complete/study these programmes as well. Some of the recommended courses mentioned in KJ Somaiya Institute of Management MCA curriculum are:

  • Swachh Bharat Activity
  • Street plays for social awareness
  • First aid training for a week
  • Making short film/photography
  • Ettiquette and conversational skills, etc.

Candidates can choose electives in the second and third semesters of the KJSIM MCA programme. The electives paper that the candidate can choose from are- Blockchain Technology, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Economics, and Environmental Issues and Ethics, etc.

Yes KJSIM MCA 2025 application process has started. Registration portal is currently active. Students must go to official website to register and fill out application form. To apply, students must ensure that they fill and submit applications before deadline.

KJSIM MCA application form can be filled out in online mode through its official website. Students need to first register and generate login credentials. Some of details students need to mention for registration are first name and last name, mobile number, Email ID, verification code sent over mail and password.

After completing registration they can login to fill out application form. With application form, important documents have to be attached fee of INR 1,500 has to be paid.

KJ Somaiya Institute of Management offers admission to the MCA programme based on score in the accepted exam. The institute accept scores of PERA CET/CUET/MAH MCA CET for selection. Candidates' with a valid score in either of the accepted exams can fill out the application and apply. Apart from this, it is also crucial that the aspirant meet the course-specific eligibility criteria, i.e., BCA or equivalent degree pass with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA Admission

  • Candidates who have completed a minimum 3-year degree programme from Bangalore University or any other equivalent university with at least 50% aggregate marks in all subjects are eligible for Admission.  
  • PGCET Cutoff 2023 for GM Category is listed below. The overall cutoff rank for Karnataka PGCET is 2496 for round 1. 
  • And PGCET Cutoff 2022 was 2032.
