The overall seat intake of MCA courses at NSEC is 60. The institute offers MCA under the affliation of MAKAUT. Candidates having a UG degree with a 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for admission. Ramaiah Institute of Technology MCA admission is entirely based on the entrance exam. Candidates willing to apply to the MCA course, must qualify in any one of the entrance exam KMAT or PGCET. Further, candidates must participate in the counselling process for seat allocations. Therefore, direct admission to the MCA course is not possible at Ramaiah Institute of Technology.

NBU offers MCA courses for a duration of two-years. For MCA admission, NBU accepts the candidates on the basis of WB JECA entrance exam. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam for Computer Application, commonly known as WB JECA is the exam for admission to MCA courses. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the WBJECA every year for admission in the colleges of West Bengal.

You can get admission for MCA in Gujrat University through other examination except CMAT like GUJCET, However if you don't want to give any examination or give an examination with a minimum cutoff, you can get admission through manegement quota but it is subject to the institute official's will .
