Eligibility of MCA:
Graduation in any stream is the basic eligibility for MCA. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Most of the institutes require 45 to 50 % aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage.
Apart from this, there is another prerequisite for taking admission in MCA degree; one must have studied mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject.

No you can't because for MCA in JNU you need to have maths at 10+2 level.

The candidates are required to complete graduation from a reputed university to appear for NIMCET exam. Also, the candidate must have studied mathematics in 12th or in the graduation level. They should have scored at least 60% marks in 12th and 55% marks in graduation. Final year students can also apply for the exam. The lower age limit for the exam is 21 years. The NIMCET exam is of objective nature with 120 questions.
