Hello,
A very interesting query has been posted. It requires solution in all dimensions. Firstly, and most importantly M.Tech and MCA are considered as almost same by many in the industry. But, this is far from truth. Though of course, both are post graduate courses. Pursuing M.Tech is possible only if one has completed B.Tech or BE in relevant field. Only after this, admission is feasible. MCA from an open university is advisable only if you want to work along with it. If you are not planning to do job along with the open degree, it won't be beneficial for you. I would recommend you to start working along with MCA from distance as 3 years work experience along with distance MCA is more beneficial than a regular one and no work experience.
