This is one of the exams conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University for candidates aspiring for admission into MCA course. The School of Computer and Sciences conducts this course. It was established in 1975. This Institute provides 100% placement in Top IT companies such as IBM, Siemens, Himachal Pradesh, CSC, GE caps, etc. There are a high number of aspirants appearing for this exam. The candidate should have cleared Bachelor degree from the recognized institute with minimum of 55% marks.
Structure of the JNU MCA Entrance Exam
They should have adequate competency in Mathematics at 12th level or Bachelor degree. The types of questions asked are objective type with multiple choices. The candidate has to select the right answer from the given options. The questions will be asked from mathematics, General aptitude and computer science

They should allot time for all these sections and should complete portion soon. The candidate should follow time table without fail. They should have more confidence in themselves. The candidate can find more information about computers. Online guides or text books will be useful. The candidate has to practice model question papers and previous year question papers. This will help to know their level. Also they can ensure the mistakes do not take place. When they are preparing for test, they should take note on all important points. They should start their preparation earlier so that they get more time for revision

A very interesting query has been posted. It requires solution in all dimensions. Firstly, and most importantly M.Tech and MCA are considered as almost same by many in the industry. But, this is far from truth. Though of course, both are post graduate courses. Pursuing M.Tech is possible only if one has completed B.Tech or BE in relevant field. Only after this, admission is feasible. Then, there is GATE that one needs to clear before admission could be thought of.On the other hand, pursuing MCA is possible based on marks obtained in BCA at graduation level. Having said this, it is observed that many subjects are common between these two streams and students who are pass out are having good domain knowledge about softwares. To conclude, I would say that there is no need to do M Tech after having done MCA.

Candidates have to apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Application Fee forGeneral and SEBCcandidates is Rs.800/-. ForSC/ST candidates the application fee is Rs.400/-.
Take print out of the filled application form and affix a passport sized photograph, and get the form attested by agazzeted officer.The certificates mentioned under'Certificates Necessary', print out of the form, and fee challan from State Bank of Travancoreare to be sent to the office.In the application, the candidate has to write the challan number, date of payment, fee amount, Bank branch, put his/her signature below the declaration and send the same by Registered Post/Speed Post/Hand Delivery.

TANCET 2018 Eligibility:
To apply for TANCET 2018 successfully, it is important that candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria for the exam, only then he/she will be allowed to appear for the entrance test. Following is the eligibility criteria for TANCET:
1. Appearing candidates should have a recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field with at least 50 % (45 % in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.
2. He/she should have either of the following Bachelor's degree- B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch/ B.Pharma.
3. Candidates with a Master's Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed, too can apply for TANCET.
4. Students with 10+2 + AMIE* (or) 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.* are eligible to appear for the entrance examination.
5. Candidates in their final semester / year of the said qualifying degree course except courses offered by Professional Institutions (like AMIE) during April/May, too can apply for TANCET.
6. Any decision on the eligibility criteria for admission to colleges in Tamil Nadu, through TANCET, completely depends on authority offering the courses. Please note that other State Candidates can also appear for the entrance test, however, the eligibility conditions is not same in their case.
For MCA:
Qualifying Exam: Pass Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years with mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
Minimum Marks: Secured at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates)
