You can apply for NIMCET exam, but if your mathematics is weak then you can't get a seat in NITs.

You should take a chance and see if you don't get a good college after one year drop then choose the career which you want to pursue.

As for MCA, there is no entrance test, so some institute may admit student directly, but some institute conduct entrance test. It depends on the institute.
