Basically the questions of MCA entrance examination are similar to BCA 1st and 2nd year maths paper. So collect year solution of BCA 1st and 2nd year Math paper and practice and do some basic programming basically C, C+ and Java.

Both are similar, they have no difference. MCA is a 3-year course and M.Sc is a 2-year course.

In my university math is compulsory in 10+2+3 level as a main subject. And I suggest not go with MCA if you don't have any idea about Mathematics and Programming Because MCA is not that easy, it Masters level Computer and IT based Program. I saw so many people and few of my team mate who has math in Graduation level but they can't complete MCA.

Hi Pranjal,
As you know, both are different areas of study. MCA explore a gateway to IT Industry and you can find job as Application, Software Programmer, Web Programmer, Software tester, etc. while MBA is a key into corporate managerial life.
But you must know the structure of both programs. MBA is of two years in duration and the Duration of MCA is three years( Lateral Entry system into direct 2nd Year is available in some universities, but only BCA, B.Sc -CS / IT graduates can enjoy the benefit of LET).
MBA is almost the continuation of B Com degree as the subjects are similar such as Management, HR, Finance, Accountancy, Business Ma

Devoting one full year for competitive exam preparation has its own merits and demerits. Dropping a year means that you will get sufficient amount of time to prepare for competitive exams.
