A normal MCA degree course offered by majority of Universities is of 3 years duration whereas lateral entry MCA course after BCA is of two years duration. You must check with University admission department before seeking admission whether duration. is 2 or 3 years for BCA graduates.

There is no university, which offers dual degree course MCA and MBA simultaneously. You can do MBA degree after completing MCA to prepare yourself for PreSales, sales and marketing, account management and business analyst roles in IT or ITES industry.
