When it comes to industry-wide compensation, students part of Consulting jobs are paid the highest with an mean base salary of CAD 132,667 (INR 82.15 L), followed by those employed in the Technology sector: CAD 116,680 (INR 72.25 L).

Justin Trudeau who is the prime minister of Canada from 2015 to 2025 is a notable alumni member at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
He had completed a UG degree in English Literature in 1994 before going on to study a Bachelor of Education degree from UBC.
Justin had also led the Liberal Party from the years 2013 to 2025 & was a member of parliament from Papineau between 2008-2025.

No, McGill University is not part of the prestigious group of Ivy League institutions, despite maintaining a high academic standard, & a quality educational environment.
A simple reason for that is the university's location as an Canadian institution. The Ivy League only takes into consideration the universities based in the United States, & as a result, McGill doesn't make the cut.
The Ivy League universities are considered the pinnacle of quality education, & are among the most sought-after institutes, globally.

The McGill University, is known globally for its work in thje fields of chemistry, medicine & biology. The institute is known for having one of the best research infrastructures among higher educational institutes in the region.
As per an official media release, shared by the university, it recieved an landmark amout of USD 165 million in the form of federal investment in DNA to RNA D2R category.
The institute is also involved in international research partnerships with over 99 international countries & some other popular areas of its research includes: Artificial Intelligence & Genomics.

Both Universities are very selective at granting admissions to students & only consider highly qualified individuals. The universities are neck & neck in terms of their acceptance rates, with the University of McGill acceptance rate standing at 46%, while that of University of Toronto is around 43%. It can be said that University of McGill is marginally easier to secure admisisons at as compared to University of Toronto.
Candidates interested in admissions at either institute must perform really well in past academics & university level exams & maintain a professional resume that stands out from the rest to have the best possible chance
