The time it takes to receive admission decisions from McGill Uni varies depending on the completeness of the application/supporting documents, the course type, and some other circumstances.

For the Sep intake, decisions are to be released between Mid-November to mid-May for students applying from outside the US and Canada.

Yes, students can transfer to McGill Uni. However, it is a highly competitive process. Transfer to McGill University is not guaranteed and depends on several factors as mentioned below:

  • Academic performance in past studies
  • Availability of seats
  • Meeting the entry requirements for the new course

Transfer will not be granted if applying to a program/subject in which a student has already completed a degree of significant number of courses.

No, Indian students cannot pay their tuition in installments at McGill Uni. The university does not currently have an instalment plan option for Indian students.

The tuiton fee is to be paid in full for each term. McGill Uni tuition fee is usually due at the end of the month in which the bill is generated.

Those unable to pay all fee at once need to pay what they can, to reduce the overall balance and interest charges on the same.
