A career as a doctor specializing in MD Forensic Medicine can be both challenging and rewarding.

• Education and Training: To become a forensic pathologist, you typically need to complete a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) followed by a specialisation in forensic medicine (MD Forensic Medicine). 

• Job Responsibilities: As a forensic pathologist, you'll be responsible for conducting autopsies to determine the cause of death in cases of suspicious, violent, or sudden deaths. 

• Work Environment: Forensic pathologists often work in government agencies such as medical examiner's offices, forensic laboratories, or law enforcement agencies. 

• Challenges: Working in forensic medicine can be emotionally challenging due to the nature of the cases you'll handle. 

The Sree Balaji Dental College and Hospital has provided diverse type of scholarships to MDS students including Periodontology students. When more specific information is sought on MDS in Periodontology scholarships, a few are available but only for the “College” managed financial aid considering the grades of the students. Most of the time with these scholarships, candidates who have done the bachelor of dental surgery (BDS) should have passed with a mean grade of 55% for the general categories and above 45% for the SC/ST categories, get these scholarships. They are encouraged to utilize the student counseling services offered by the college and seek available options to enable them to get comprehensive information on the procedures and eligibility rules concerning the scholarship applications.

Both MD Pediatrics and DNB in Pediatrics are prestigious qualifications for pediatricians, but there are some differences between them. 

MD Pediatrics is a degree awarded by universities, and the course typically involves rigorous academic training and practical experience in pediatric care.

DNB Pediatrics is awarded by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and is equivalent to MD in terms of specialisation and scope. 

Both qualifications are highly respected and allow you to practice as a pediatrician, with the choice often depending on personal preference, the reputation of the institution, and specific career goals. The core content and training in pediatric care are similar, though the institutions and training environments may differ.
