SCTIMST, Trivandrum accepts the entrance exam scores for MD in Transfusion Medicine. To be admitted to the program, candidates must take the INI-SS entrance exam and get the required minimum score. A written theory entrance exam, a departmental clinical/practical and viva voce, and a final interview are also included in the selection process, with marks allocated for each of these components.

The MD selection procedure at SCTIMST, Trivandrum, is conducted based on NEET-PG scores. Applicants must achieve at least the minimum qualifying percentile on the NEET-PG test to be considered for admission to SCTIMST's MD programs. For the General category, the NEET-PG cutoff percentile is 50th; for the SC/ST/OBC and General-PH categories, it is 40th and 45th, respectively. University College of Medical Sciences University of Delhi cutoff for MD/ MS is based on NEET PG scores. NEET PG 2023 concluded after the release of Round 5. The cutoff was released for multiple specialisations among which, MD in General Medicineand MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy became the most competitive specialisation. This conclusion was derived after considering their last round closing ranks.

The selection process for taking admission in MD is :

  1. The candidate should be graduated with 55% aggregate.

  2. The candidate should qualify in INI CET exam with required score. 

Once selected, the candidate must pay the fee and submit all the required documents to enroll in the course.

As per the recent updates, the last ranking for the closing round was 2707, for MD in Transfusion Medicine at SCTIMST, Trivandrum. So, this can be said as the minimum INI CET score required to enroll in MD.
