With BSc degree you are eligible for majority of non technical posts in Government (Central, State, PSU, Banks etc) where eligibility criterion is graduation degree. Beside this you may able to get job of technician, lab assistant in Scientific R&D organisation. You are also eligible to do BEd and take school teacher job. Q:   How can I get an MBBS seat at JIPMER Puducherry?
A: 

JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) offers the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme. Admission to the JIPMER MBBS programme is done through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET UG is a national-level entrance examination conducted annually for admission to undergraduate medical programmes in India.

Q:   Is there any fee refund policy available at JIPMER Puducherry?
A: 

JIPMER Puducherry fee once paid by the college students will never be refunded. If a student decides to withdraw their admission or leaves a course midway, the following rules apply:

  • Caution Deposits: The caution deposit paid by the students is the only refundable fee component & is returned to the student upon successful course completition or when leaving the hostel. 
  • Academic Fees: The entire amount paid at the time of JIPMER admission will be forfeited.
  • Penalty: For MBBS students who withdraw admission after getting a seat, an additional penalty of INR 10,000 will be imposed.
Q:   When will NTA release the NEET 2026 result?
A: 

The NEET 2025 result is expected to be released in the first week of June 2025, within a month of conducting the exam. NTA does not announce the NEET result date in advance. Although last year the result date was stated to be declared on June 14, NTA released it 10 days in advance. Hence, there is no fixed date or schedule for NTA to declare the NEET result. Prior to the declaration of the result, NTA releases the final NEET answer key. Last year, NEET was conducted on May 5 and the result was declared June 4.

Q:   Is JIPMER Puducherry hard to get?

JIPMER Puducherry is a highly competitive exam, but it is easier than national-level medical entrance exams like NEET and AIIMS. However, because of the huge number of students competing for only 200 seats, it is difficult to get admission in JIPMER. The acceptance rate of JIPMER is 0.1%. The exam paper has 10 questions from the English language and 10 from logical reasoning. The JIPMER syllabus is based on the Tamil Nadu state board syllabus, so it’s quite easy for CBSE students but the topics that are only a part of the Tamil Nadu state board need to be studied. The exam is easier than NEET and AIIMS, but it is still a difficult exam. The cutoff marks and ranks can vary each year based on the number of applicants and the difficulty level of the exam.

Q:   How can I check the merit list for JIPMER Puducherry?
