Admission to B Tech program through lateral entry for Diploma holder candidates is allowed directly in
Second-year (third semester) at HBTU. These admissions shall be based on the merit of the candidates in the
National Level Entrance Examination conducted by the University.
Eligibility criteria : Candidates of UP domicile, who have passed 3 or 4 year Diploma with a minimum 60% mark without grace from institutions recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education or equivalent in the relevant branch of Engineering / Technology as the one in which he / she intends to take admission in B Tech program shall be eligible for admission direct

You can do the B.Sc Forensic Science course on the basis of the class 12th PCM marks. M.Sc Forensic Science required B.Sc in Forensic Science or Biology.

A Diploma holder can definitely seek admission in lateral mode directly in second year of four years engineering course. You should go through the prospectus of the course provided by the college to know about details of selection, eligibility, fee, etc.
