Second-year (third semester) at HBTU. These admissions shall be based on the merit of the candidates in the

A Diploma holder can definitely seek admission in lateral mode directly in second year of four years engineering course. You should go through the prospectus of the course provided by the college to know about details of selection, eligibility, fee, etc.

Your marks in Diploma & B.Tech is good and above minimum requirement i.e. 60 %. Make sure you are eligible in other criteria also like age, martial status, etc.
