Eligibility for entry into these types of Institutions is normally 12th standard with PCM, but you have completed your Diploma and diploma these days is considered as equivalent to 12th in majority of the states in India. Hence I see no reason as to why this institution should refuse you admission. Just go ahead and fill up required forms for getting admission in your desired course in this Institute.

The intake also includes admission to students under Self Supported Schemes (SSS) and State Rank Holders of (10+2) Science Examinations of NE States securing above 85% in aggregate.
So, there is no need to give any entrance exam separately for B.Tech programs.

Above is the possible rank you can get. The final rank will be based on the best of the scores of JEE-Mains January 2019 and April 2019 exam. The predicted rank may vary due to JEE Main tie breaker rules for same score.

The candidates should complete their B.Sc. degree under any registered University with subjects like Physics, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology and Microbiology.
B.Sc. (Family & Community Sciences) with specialization in Nutrition.
B.Sc. (Vocational) with Specialization in Food Science and Quality Control or Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics or Food Science and Technology or B.Tech. Food Science and Technology.
B.Sc. (Family and Community Sciences) Programme with specialization in Foods & Nutrition/Public Health Nutrition/Dietetics/Food Science and Quality Control.

As COEP has only 12 seats of mechanical engineering so admission chances in COEP are less. You will atleast need aggregate of 96% in your Diploma for general category.

For admission in Diploma at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara College of Engineering and Technology, Dharwad you have to give the Diploma CET exam organised by Karnataka state government and in this way depending upon your rank you will be directly admitted to SDMET, 2nd year in the branch of your choice.
