Hello Sanjay, One must study in the branch that one not only likes but is passionate about. Whether it's civil, mechanical or CSR makes no difference. Yes presently students with CSE branch get better placements but believe me mechanical branch is one perpetual branch. You should deliberate, mediate and then decide. Best wishes to you.

Hello Manish,
As you are aware admissions to this college are as per JoSAA. With 1.5Lakh as ranking it would be tough to get admission in normal course. Just see if there are any quotas for management. Also ho through the link that I am attaching for a college predictor.

It depends on post. What post you are targeting. Kindly check the post and required jobs. Some jobs which are related to jr. Engineer has qualifications requirement as Diploma.

Yes, you can change the branch in 2nd year and after Diploma you can get the admission in 2nd year only.

Hello Lalit Amrutkar, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your graduation even after almost 20 years of passing of your Diploma in engineering. Unfortunately engineering graduation is not possible via distance education. You need to attend the college. But you can think of doing AMIE, which is equivalent to graduation in all respects. Else you can download the brochure cum application form of IGNOU and SEE what courses you could do. Best wishes to you.
