Hello Scorpion, as you must be aware, a student must obtain percentile above the cutoff declared by NTA for every category. If your percentile would be more than this then only you can seek admission in any NIT. For information I am giving below cutoff declared last year by NTA. Cut-off for JEE Advance
Candidates having at least 90.3765335 percentile will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. For EWS students the cut-off is 70.2435518, for OBC it is 72.8887969, SC - 50.1760245, ST - 39.0696101, PwD - 0.06185224
Best wishes to you.

Hello Aswin, admissions to second year of four year degree course in engineering under lateral admission process is based on marks obtained in the diploma examination. Hence if you have scored well in diploma examination then you can get admission in this institution.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Anoop Singh, though I do not know off hand and also NIT available on the net, about any possible college offering part time engineering course, I suggest following. Find out from Google list of all engineering colleges in Raipur. Then ring up administration dept of each college to know if they offer part time course. This way you will come to know quickly. Best wishes to you.

Hello Bhavesh, as I understand you have two queries. Firstly can you change branch at the level of graduation. Yes, you can. Dte of Tech education of Maharashtra has on its website, information about possible branches that a Diploma holder can choose based on present branch in Diploma. Your second query is : Can you get admission in government engineering college? Yes, you can. Getting admission for degree course after completion of Diploma is exclusively dependent on marks obtained in Diploma. Best wishes to you.

Dear Aspirant, Civil engineering primarily targets a field whereas Mechanical engineering can be further divided into a variety of fields. This makes it a better choice for the students who are looking for higher studies in the desired direction. I have many friends who have completed B.Tech in Mechanical and Civil Engineering at LPU, Jalandhar, Being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for any engineering programme. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. Hello Hritik Bondre, it is very nice to hear from you that you have completed your Diploma in mechanical engineering and now you are desirous of doing your graduation in engineering. There are two different ways by which you can accomplish you are dreams. Firstly you can seek admission directly into second year of 4 your degree course of engineering under lateral admission process. Alternatively you can treat Diploma as equivalent to 12th examination and appear for different entrance examination for getting admission in first year of four year engineering graduation course. Best wishes to you.
