Hello Rakesh Kumar, I am afraid that the concept of lateral admission directly into the second year of 4 year degree course is apparently available only in India. However if you know positively that it's available abroad that too to an Indian Diploma holder, please let me know. Having said this, you can always seek admission abroad in an undergraduate studies in engineering based on your Diploma. LPU is the better choice to pursue your engineering. LPU does provide B.Tech in Mechanical. After completing B.Tech in Mechanical you have two option, either you can do MBA or you can do M.Tech in the relevant discipline. So, it is your choice about what do you want to pursue. Hello Chintu Hadpad, Diploma in engineering is normally considered as equivalent to 12th standard examination. As a matter of fact Diploma holders can appear for JEE Mains exam for which 12th is the eligibility criteria otherwise. Best wishes to you.
