I am a inter candidate who written the ceee in my time and got a rank joined in private engineering college Bapatla now your question answer is later entry, you just complete the vocational inter you may join in polytechnic 2nd year in any branch, 2nd answer is if you complete polytechnic course and written the ECet exam you must took the Btech 2nd year if you got good rank in Ecet entrance OK

In case of mechanical or electrical engineering, you can go with any of the branches. All the branches are amazing and provides equal opportunities to its students. The infrastructure and campus of all the branches is world class and well equipped. The labs are well maintained. The faculty is amazing and are always keen to generate new ideas of teaching in the classroom for better understanding of its students. The last year closing rank in VNIT Nagpur in Mechanical Engineering was 15643 in General (Neutral) category under home state quota. Hence keeping the last year of trends in consideration you have to score above 98.5 percentile in JEE Main, if belongs to general category.
