Hi,I believe you'll get admitted directly to the second year of the B.Tech degree as every Diploma student is eligible to get directly in 2nd year of any engineering or any B.Sc Specialization course. But, I guess your percentage should be really great. You must enquire about the same in the college you wish to apply for B.Tech degree. Hope it helps. All the best.

This would depend a lot on your personality traits & interest areas. Each MBA specialization needs specific personality traits for excelling in the profession say if you are outspoken and like traveling, meeting people, take target pressure then Marketing could be a preference & is you are a peoples person wherein you like counseling people and act as an advisory & wants a desk top job bonded by rules & regulations then HRM will be exciting. Since you are a Mechanical Engineer you could also look at Operations as a specialization. Do evaluate your inherent personality traits and then take a call.

Yes, you are eligible after completion of your Diploma course for B.Tech Marine Engineering and B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) Lateral admission at Indian Maritime Universities located at Kolkata, Mumbai Port, Chennai and Visakhapatnam. The eligibility criteria are as under.
