Hi candidate,
Yes, Ocean Engineering is a branch of Mechanical Engineering but deals mainly with problems which can be encountered in the oceans. Though as distinct disciplines these might have their own concepts as we have seen earlier, at their core they have central engineering sciences incline of mechanics, thermodynamics, material Science and so on. The overall fee of B.Tech at National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune will be around INR 55,560. Apart from this, during the entire B.Tech course NDA gives pocket money of INR 2,500 per month to a B.TECH student for five months in a calender year. The support is set up for cadets to cover their costs of living while they are training. No tuition, no room and board charges: the fee structure is based ultimately on those designed to provide cadets with as few distractions from their rigorous academic schedule (or military training) due to financial issues.

The Mechanical Department is also very good in this college. Good Mechanical Engineers come out of this college. The placement is also good for every department. It has a 70%+ placement percentage for most of the department. Around 52 companies visit here to recruit students, and the placements are good for CSE, IT, ECE but not for other branches like Mech, EEE and civil.

The primary criteria for admission to a government college in Maharashtra offering mechanical engineering programs is one's performance on entrance examinations such as the MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test) or JEE Main. Candidates must fulfil the requirements for eligibility, which include passing the 10+2 exam with mathematics, chemistry, and physics as required subjects. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell or the official college websites should be consulted by candidates for precise cutoffs. The domicile status and reserved category quota may also affect an applicant's chances of admission.
