Dear Abdul, admission is based on centralized admission process conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharastra. In case, your brother fails to clear the test, don't get disheartened. Try for admission in good private universities. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of their own tests and some offer direct admission on basis of class 10th marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 10th or entrance tests. Hi there, choosing Mechanical Branch through COMEDK is worth, if you are going for colleges like RV, MSRIT, BMS, BIT-Bangalore etc. If you are going to these top colleges, then only you can expect placements, otherwise you will not get any placements in average colleges through COMEDK in Mechanical Branch. I would like to suggest you to go for the above mentioned colleges. Hope it helps.

Hi there,For getting Mechanical Engineering in RVCE through COMEDK, and as you are non-Karnataka student so you should score minimum between 135-140 for being on safer side, as the cutoff of RVCE is very high, and also if you score this much marks, you can easily get in into some other good colleges too. Hope it helps.

There are a limited number of seats and it depends upon the total allowed intake of the college too. Roughly around 20.

Sorry, but no one can give details of vacant seats. For details about vacant seats, you have to visit the college and talk to college official authorities. Sometimes, the college also posts an add-on newspaper but till now, we didn't get any ad from the college about vacant seats.
