For Joining ISRO, A candidate need to score at least 65% or 6.8 CGPA on a scale of 10 in Btech/BE programme and must be below the 35 year of age. These eligible candidate must need to take test conducted by ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board. This test include a written exam and a interview.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Mechanical Engineering at Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute Of Technology other than General category are - 537070 for OBC, 537070 for SC, 537070 for ST, 537070 for EWS and 537070 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Generally BE takes four years to complete and dual takes five years. Dual degree courses that are offered at BITS campuses are Msc. (Hons) Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics and Physics.
