The TNEA Cut off is necessary for Admission in B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is as follow :

  1. For OBC : Closing Home State rank- 88245
  2. For General : Closing Home State rank- 61414
  3. For ST : Closing Home State rank- 92863
  4. For General : Closing Home State rank- 88821

Candidates must have passed their class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination from a recognised board of education's. Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% overall in the qualifying exam. Candidates who fall under the SC/ST categories are given a mark relaxation to 40%. They also require a valid JEE score, which depends upon the cutoff for the particular year.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, or any other examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, with the 45 percent marks in aggregate (40 percent in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) or equivalent along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards. For 2025, cut off was 5995 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in MNIT Jaipur - Malaviya National Institute of Technology. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
