Akshay, to get admission firstly you must meet the cutoff score setup by the college itself. This varies every year. In Common Entrance Test, marks that you scored, cannot make you eligible for admission in good govt.colleges. However you can apply under reserved category candidate for govt. colleges. I would suggest you to go for some private college.

See, the best option is to first study mechanical engineering, and then do one year additional marine engineering. See, you will have vast scope of jobs. You can work on ships or you can work on cars. The choice will be completely your's.
