Give thought to Canada or New Zealand. Cost is low, exposure to international environ, and you get less distracted from studies. Evaluate before deciding.

Just forget of a drop of an year. if your results are still above average. otherwise join some progressive company, gain experience. you may also take up special courses as related to industry of your choice. Many short term courses are available to grab and make you to excel.

Since you are in Gujarat Chemical engineering is better to continue. lot of local opportunities if you study better. you may get international exposures ad well in future.
