Sijo, you can go for a higher degree. Your diploma can let you take admission in 2nd yr.of B.Tech. Choose a branch of your choice and take admission in it. These days, in place of traditional ME, you can go for Mechatronics, Aerospace, Automobile, Aeronautical, Astronautical etc.
For admission, you have to appear for Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET). You must have min.of 60% marks in diploma to appear for LEET.
If you have not given LEET too, then opt for good private universities like LPU, MIT, IIIT, DBU, etc. They offer world class environment to students along with good placements. Some even offer good scholarships to students.

JIIT noida does not offer mechanical .
JSS and JIIT both are good but difference is in crowd. In JIIT you will find some of the riches, but in JSS most of student are from different parts of UP.
