It is a very niche and narrow area of specialisation. You may get job with IPR law firms, MNC R&D Patent departments etc. Less Jobs are avail but jobs in field very high paying.

Manish, after completing diploma in Mechanical you can get admission in 2nd year.of B.Tech that we refer to as lateral entry. As first year syllabus for all branches is same, so you can take admission in any branch of your choice.
You have to appear for Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET) for admission in 2nd year.of B.Tech. You must have min.of 60% marks in diploma to appear for LEET.
If you have not given LEET, then opt for good private universities like LPU, MIT, IIIT, DBU, etc. They offer world class environment to students along with good placements. Some even offer good scholarships to students. Check their websites.

Dearvishal joshi. B.Tech with MBA always demanding. doing MS you will be working in production and other related areas. where as b.tech mba would fetch you to get into managerial functions. including marketing. hence, check out your personality. do you want to stick in your own area or would like to enter in managerial functions. check out accordingly take decision. MS is not wrong option. MBA also is not wrong option. it depends upon your style of functioning that you are interested. i prefer do mba from good universities. that will help you in securing great positions. all the best.
