Automobile Engineering concerns itself with design, development and production of automobiles i.e. cars, motorcycles, buses, etc. It deals specifically with problems related to Vehicle Engineering Subjects like Internal Combustion Engines, Vehicle Dynamics, Ergonomics, Safety,etc are studied primarily.Thus we can say that Automobile engineering is a subset of Mechanical Engineering.

Candidates should have at least 55% aggregate marks without rounding off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for General/OBC (NCL) Category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks without rounding off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC/ST and PwD Category candidates in the qualifying degree
For candidates with letter grades/CGPA (instead of percentage of marks) the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the admitting institutes

U should go college directly and talk to him for admission

it depend upon ur interest that make a good way in ur career.

You will not get the best college at such an score but you may get other colleges such as JSS,RNIT,DON BOSCO etc.however the best college for btech is RV college of engineering.

Both degrees are equally good. You may chose any based on your interests to excel in studies.
