Gaurav, in absence of JEE you can try for admission in private universities like Amity, Lovely, Manipal, etc which have their own admission tests for B.Tech.All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements that they offer. Some of them even offer scholarships.
Good luck.

Since, you have already completed your Diploma course, you can pursue B.Tech in mechanical engineering via lateral entry i.e. taking admission directly in the 2nd year provided that you have scored the qualifying marks depending upon the colleges (generally above 50%).
Some of the colleges are:
Amity University, Noida
Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida
Amity School of Engineering and Technology,
NoidaCollege of Engineering and Technology, IILM Academy of Higher Learning, Noida
Shiv Nadar University, Noida
DIT School of Engineering, Noida

Thank you and best of luck.

Hi Mani, PG Diploma programs in mechanical engineering is difficult to find in Canada. PG Diploma is suitable if you are looking for a fast track career option, mostly based on practical courses and applications. MS programs are research oriented, if you want to get into RnD MS is suitable for you. With 7.2 CGPA, admission in a MS program is challenging. So, you decide your career interests and choose accordingly.
