These are the Eligibility Criteria for Admission to MBBS in Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER):

Educational Qualification:

Passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
Minimum percentage requirement: 50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, and 45% for PwD in PCB overall.
Age Limit:

Should have completed a minimum of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
Upper age limit: 25 years (30 years for reserved categories).
Entrance Test:

Must qualify NEET-UG with a valid score.
Admission is based on individual NEET rank and through counseling at the state or national level.
Domicile Requirements:

Candidates, for state quota seats, must fulfil the West Bengal domicile criteria.

The Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research (MIMER), Talegaon requires applicants to have completed their MBBS degree from an accredited medical college with approval from the Medical Council of India (MCI) in order to be eligible for the MD program. Additionally, they had to have finished the required one-year rotating internship. To be eligible for postgraduate medical admissions in India, candidates must pass the national level NEET-PG entrance test. In order to be considered for postgraduate admissions, students must also satisfy any additional requirements specified by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) or the institute.

To qualify for the Master of Surgery (MS) programme at Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SLNIMS), you generally need to satisfy the following criteria: you are required to possess an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) degree obtained from a Medical Council of India (MCI)-recognized institution and accepted a permanent registration certificate from MCI or respective state medical council. Furthermore, you are obliged to have accomplished one-year internship after your MBBS. Additionally, it is mandatory that you pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET-PG). SLNIMS may impose its own eligibility criteria like minimum NEET-PG scores or academic performance requirements so it’s best to approach them directly for any updates.

The detailed conditions for eligibility for the DM course might slightly differ from every institution or, in fact, from every country since different countries have different ways of administering the program.

However, some common requirements are normally expected for applicants into a DM course.

• It is the basic criterion that the candidate possesses a recognized medical degree, namely the MBBS or its equivalent from a recognized institute.
• The candidate should have completed the MBBS degree and achieved the required certification or a degree.
• For most, it is that the candidates should have obtained a minimum percentage or grade in obtaining the undergraduate medical degree. It is above 50% in many institutions, and in some cases, it is the reverse.
• Most of the DM course eligibility includes minimum time duration in the clinical practice. This period ranges from 1-3 years, depending upon the specialization, and the institution which is offering the course.
• The students are also supposed to take and pass a competitive entrance examination before they are admitted in the institution providing the DM course. Most institutions have a special competitive entrance examination that the candidate should pass before admission.
