Medicine & Health Sciences Eligibility

To enrol for MS programme offered by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline (e.g. MBBS) from a recognised university or its equivalent. Candidates seeking admission to the MS programme need to appear for and clear the NEET PG exam. 

The NEET PG exam score is the sole criteria for admission to the MS programs at HNBUMU. There are no other entrance exams or interviews conducted by the university for MS admissions. The specific NEET PG qualifying cutoff marks required for admission to the MS programs may vary across different specializations and categories (UR, SC/ST etc.)

• HNBUMU eligibility criteria for UG courses are as follows.

For MBBS, BDS, B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc, BPT, and BMLT, candidates must pass the 10+2 examination in the PCB stream with English as a compulsory subject and 50% aggregate marks in PCB from a recognised board.

For B.Sc (Post Basic Nursing), candidates must have a GNM degree after passing the 10+2 examination in the Science stream and should be a registered nurse or midwife with any State Nursing Registration Council.

The following requirements must be met in order for candidates to be admitted to Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) Master of Dental Surgery program:

Educational Requirement: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from an accredited institution or institute in India or overseas is required of candidates.
The Dental Council of India (DCI) ought to accept the BDS degree.
Internship: Following the receipt of their BDS degree, candidates are required to have successfully completed a year-long rotating internship.
The internship must be finished by the date the institute specifies, if not before.
Test of Eligibility and Entrance for Postgraduate Dental Courses (NEET MDS), administered by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), must have been passed by candidates.

Below is the eligibility criteria for admission to Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences' B.Tech programs:

Education: Completed the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics coursework for a passing grade in the 10+2 or its equivalent.
The minimum required grades are 60% overall in math, chemistry, and physics for 10+2.
Entry Exam: The candidate must have passed the institute's Saveetha Engineering Entrance Exam (SEEE) with a valid score.
There is no maximum age limit. Parental approval is necessary for candidates under the age of eighteen.
Reduction for Reserved Categories: SC/ST applicants must have earned at least 55% of their points in PCM in their 10+2 coursework.
Lateral Entry: Based on their graduation grades, candidates with a current engineering Diploma may apply for direct admission to the second year of study.
