For admission to the Pharmacy courses, student must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology. Students have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Students, those pass the three year Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) are also eligible.

Pharma. D is a degree made specially to work as a pharmacist and was made keeping patients in mind. Very few Indian students pursue Pharmacy to become a pharmacist and tend to go to industry/academia instead. After a Pharma. D you can work as a clinical pharmacist, preferably at a hospital. Or, you can go into clinical research, pharmacovigilance, hosptial administration, regulatory affairs, etc. But, that's it. Yes, you can choose and your eligible. In some private colleges and private universities directly you can get management seat by paying tuition fee. And coming to government universities, you have to write PGCET entrance exam for M.Sc. Human genetics. If you get good score you get best universities in state wide.
