The criteria depends upon the college you choose. Most of the colleges will require your Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Allied Health, and Life Science from a recognized university with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

The candidate must have passed HSC examination with 10+2 pattern or equivalent recognised by the university. The candidate should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in biology/botany and zoology and at least 50% marks in physics and chemistry.

The scope of pharmacy practice includes more traditional roles such as compounding and dispensing medications, and it also includes more modern services related to health care, including clinical services, reviewing medications for safety and efficacy, and providing drug information. Pharmacy has a lot of scope in India.
