NEET is one of the toughest exams conducted in India. So, prepare yourself well for the exam. NEET 2019 Exam will be conducted twice a year by NTA (National Testing Agency). Start your preparation 8-9 months before the exam. This will give you enough time for the revision. Check complete syllabus and exam pattern. First complete the syllabus from 11th and 12th NCERT books. More than 70% questions in NEET Exam are asked from NCERT books. Solve previous year question papers and take online mock tests. Optometrists can work as post-secondary teachers, occupational/industrial safety programs, consultants in eye care industry or do research in optometry colleges.
